Psilocybe Caeruleoannulata is a bluing member of section Stuntzae, the group named for mycologist Daniel Stuntz and described by Singer ex Guzmán in 1978. This specimen derives from a Mexican collection of a species whose section is recorded across the Americas. These are rare specimens for microscopy study and taxonomic reference.
