To successfully grow mushrooms in your bag or tubs, we recommend a minimum 3:1 ratio of Coir & Vermiculite substrate to Millet Grain Spawn. This combination ensures that once fully colonised, the grain spawn will provide all the necessary nutrients, while the substrate effectively retains the moisture required for fruiting.
Our grain spawn is fully hydrated and nutrient-rich, and the coco coir and vermiculite are prepared to field capacity. Both products are sterilised in a vertical steam pressure autoclave for 3 hours at 15 PSI, ensuring a contamination-free environment. The ratio of spawn to bulk can be increased if the mushroom is prone to blobbing. This hassle-free recipe offers a ready-made solution for your mushroom growing needs.

What Will I receive?
When will I receive my item?
We'll prepare and dispatch your item on the same day for orders made before noon (UK time) on working days, i.e. Mon-Fri & non-holidays (UK). In the UK you could usually expect to receive your item within 2-3 days. Outside the UK times can vary greatly - so it is better to order well in advance.
