How do I use this item?

Mix it with a fully colonised mushroom media. We recommend at least an inch covering on top.

Do I need to add any water?

No - this substrate is already hydrated to field capacity. Field capacity relates to the relative moisture content of the soil required for the mushrooms fruiting bodies to harvest.

Mushroom Substrate takes 24 hours to prepare so orders completed before noon (on a UK working day) will be dispatched on the next working day, i.e. Mon-Fri & non-holidays (UK). Orders made after noon (again on a UK working day) will be dispatched the day after the next working day. Please allow 2-3 days delivery time from dispatch. Outside the UK, times can vary greatly - so it is better to order well in advance.
