Psilocybe Zapotecorum Popocatépetl is found in high-altitude environments near the slopes of Popocatépetl volcano, this variety endures cooler, mist-laden conditions. It often shows a tan coloured slightly crinkled cap, with its typically long but sturdy stem and a pale base. Found among moss, pine needles, and decomposing bark in coniferous and mixed woodlands.
We use our years of experience to ensure that whatever format you prefer — you get your spores in tip-top condition.
Syringe. Under a laminar flow hood using strict aseptic technique, spores are carefully scraped from lab grade prints directly into sterile distilled water. We draw them up fresh for every order (no being stored in bulk).
Swab. Certain genetics (like Penis Envy) either release a small amount of spores or none at all so collecting them becomes more difficult for a print — this is where swabs are useful. They are made by wiping a sterile cotton swab across the gills on the underside of a mature mushroom's cap. Don’t worry — this is done in a suitably legal country!
Yes, it is legal to possess and sell Zapotecorum Popocatépetl spores in the UK, but it is illegal to grow or consume them. Those outside the UK should be familiar with the legal status of magic mushroom spores for their jurisdiction - according to the intended purpose. Microscopy is a rapidly growing activity.
It really depends on what you're looking for. Consider the characteristics you're most interested in, such as shape, size, colour or the history and genetics of a particular strain. If you're unsure, our strain descriptions provide more information to help you compare your options. Read more on choosing mushroom spores for microscopy

We currently only accept bank transfer — full details are provided upon checkout.
Why don't we accept card payments? Unfortunately despite progress, the industry is still heavily stigmatised (from banks) which means that even payment gateways such as PayPal don't provide a service for any spore provider based in the UK (also the reason that you cannot buy these spores on the high street).
We encourage you to read our customer reviews to see the experiences others have had with us.
