Overview
Psilocybe Caerulescens Encinal (Mexico) originated in oak forest ecosystems. This variant produces mushrooms with a muted, almost silvery-grey cap and a relatively stout stipe. The cap surface may appear matte or slightly rough depending on moisture levels. Typically grows in shaded, loamy soil amid decaying oak leaves and woody matter. These genetics are known to produce dense clusters, in contrast to the more scattered growth commonly seen in the wild.
