Arenal Volcano

The Arenal Volcano strain of Psilocybe cubensis is believed to have originated in the foothills of the Arenal Volcano region in Costa Rica. There is an element of confusion surrounding the origin of the strain, whether it's part of the original domesticated strain of Costa Rican or instead from a separate collection of wild cubensis taken from the same area we're not sure. Either way, these are top quality spores, known to produce large flushes with big old caps.

For clarity and consistency, we have listed this strain under the name 'Arenal Volcano' as per the designation provided by our suppliers.

Are Arenal Volcano spores legal?

Yes, it is legal to possess and sell Arenal Volcano spores in the UK, but it is illegal to grow or consume them. Those outside the UK should be familiar with the legal status of magic mushroom spores for their jurisdiction - according to the intended purpose. Mycology is a rapidly growing activity.

How long will these Arenal Volcano spores last?

Arenal Volcano spores should be kept in a cool environment like the fridge (4-8°C is ideal). We recommend to use them within 6 months but it's not uncommon for them to last years.
