These Sac02 fruiting bags offer high gas exchange for clean, consistent results. They’re perfect for fruiting from bulk spawn to substrate or fruiting PF Tek. Give your mycelium the fresh air it needs without letting contaminants sneak in.
Made from tough 60 µm polypropylene, these bags handle autoclave temps up to 123 °C / 253 °F with ease. The bottom gusset makes them stable and roomy, holding 2–5 litres of mix. A single G-type filter on one side keeps gas exchange high, great for fast, healthy growth.
Included in both the Canopio 2-Part Grow Kit and Hypha Flux PF Tek Kit, these bags can also be purchased separately here for added convenience.

- What are Sac02 G Filter Bags used for?
- These bags are designed for fruiting and substrate mixes, including PF Tek cakes and bulk substrate projects. They provide plenty of fresh air while keeping contaminants out, making them perfect mini fruiting chambers.
- Are they suitable for grain spawn?
- No, the G-type filter allows too much airflow, which can cause grains to dry out. They’re best used for fruiting or substrate-based grows.
- Can I reuse them?
- Yes, we recommend sterilising them at 15 PSI for 45–60 minutes before using them again. This helps ensure the bags are clean and safe for reuse while keeping contamination risks low.
- What temperatures can they handle?
- They’re made from polypropylene (PP) and can withstand up to 123°C (253°F). While they are autoclavable, they’re mainly used post-sterilisation for fruiting rather than during sterilisation.
- How much substrate fits in each bag?
- Each large bag comfortably holds 2–5 litres of substrate, depending on how loosely it’s filled. The bottom gusset lets the bag sit upright, giving your mushrooms room to grow.
- Which side is the filter on?
- The filter is on the front side only, with the back kept clear so you can easily keep an eye on your grow.
What will I receive?
When will I receive my item?
We'll prepare and dispatch your item on the same day for orders made before noon (UK time) on working days, i.e. Mon-Fri & non-holidays (UK). In the UK you could usually expect to receive your item within 2-3 days.
Outside the UK times can vary greatly - so it is better to order well in advance. We currently deliver to the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Czechia, France, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, U.S.
