- How long do these mushroom bags last?
- Grow bags can keep for up to 3 months in a cool and dry location (in original packaging) without the need to rehydrate or sterilise the items again. Bags can also be refrigerated for up to 6 months and frozen for up to 1 year.
- What is autoclavable?
- Able to withstand the action of an autoclave.

- Autoclaves operate at high temperature and pressure in order to kill microorganisms and spores. They are used to decontaminate certain biological waste and sterilise media, instruments and lab ware.
- Why is an autoclave important?
- To grow mushrooms effectively conditions must be sterile ensuring that there isn't any contamination.
What Will I receive?
When will I receive my item?
We'll prepare and dispatch your item on the same day for orders made before noon (UK time) on working days, i.e. Mon-Fri & non-holidays (UK). In the UK you could usually expect to receive your item within 2-3 days. Outside the UK times can vary greatly - so it is better to order well in advance.
