Overview: The Hypha Flux Refill Kit is designed to keep your grows running smoothly. It provides a fresh supply of pre-mixed brown rice flour (BRF) and vermiculite substrate, along with the dry vermiculite for the contamination barrier and some fresh perlite, so you can prepare new pots or jars without the hassle of measuring or mixing from scratch.

Built around the trusted PF Tek method, this refill ensures your pots or jars have the right balance of nutrients and structure for healthy mycelial growth. With just water, your pots or jars, and standard sterilisation, you’ll be ready for inoculation in no time.

What is PF Tek?

PF Tek stands for Psilocybe Fanaticus Technique. It’s a beginner-friendly mushroom growing method that uses a special nutrient mix inside sterilised pots.

How do I use this item?

This is intended for use with pots in the Hypha Flux PF Tek Kit. But it could just as easily be used with jars. We provide full step-by-step instructions as to what to do.

Do I need anything else?

You’ll need gourmet mushroom spores or liquid culture. Also pots or jars (as mentioned above) but also importantly you will need either an autoclave or pressure cooker.

How long does it take?

Usually 4–8 weeks from start to harvest.
