Product Description
Over the years, many mycologists have worked with the original Penis Envy strain to develop their own variations. Homestead was a spore vendor based in the Pacific Northwest, active throughout the 1980s, but has since faded from the underground mushroom scene. It is believed that the name "Melmac" was chosen by Homestead as a nod to a fictional planet featured in the sitcom ALF, which aired from 1986 to 1990, hence we now have "Melmac Homestead".
Melmac Homestead spores are distinguishable from the original Penis Envy strain is the distinctive, alien-like appearance of the stems and caps. The stems often appear more deformed, and the caps have wavy edges. In terms of colour, they are quite similar to their Penis Envy predecessors — the stems are nearly colourless, while the caps range from light to dark golden caramel.
These spores are for microscopy study only
