Product Description
Xico spores were initially found in the wild near the city of Xico in Veracruz, Mexico. Thought to have been discovered in 2007 by a Shroomery user called Farbo being stabilised in 2018.
The Xico mushroom has golden-coloured caps, with relatively dense stems. It has been noted that these Xico mushrooms have unstable genetics manifesting in aborts and inconsistent results making their genetics of particular interest for study for the more advanced microscopist.
These spores are for microscopy study only
Product FAQs
- Are Xico spores legal?
- Yes, it is legal to possess and sell Xico spores in the UK, but it is illegal to grow or consume them. Those outside the UK should be familiar with the legal status of magic mushroom spores for their jurisdiction - according to the intended purpose. Mycology is a rapidly growing activity.
- How long will these Xico spores last?
- Xico spores should be kept in a cool environment like the fridge (4-8°C is ideal). We recommend to use them within 6 months but it's not uncommon for them to last years.
What Will I receive?
When will I receive my Xico spores?
We'll prepare and dispatch your Xico spores on the same day for orders made before noon (UK time) on working days, i.e. Mon-Fri & non-holidays (UK), except where there are other non-spore items included in the order, e.g. substrate. In which case orders will be dispatched according to the item that takes longest to dispatch (see dispatch times for other item types included in the order). Otherwise, in the UK you could usually expect to receive your Xico spores within 2-3 days. Outside the UK times can vary greatly - so it is better to order well in advance.
Any confusion then please contact us for clarification.
Can I return my Xico spores?
We don't normally accept returns on Xico spores due to their perishable nature. However, we are decent, genuine people; so if you feel that you've received a damaged or defective product, then please contact us and we'll be sure to put things right. See our full refund policy.
